    A thriving Worcestershire industrial estate is once again fully let following the completion of deals involving four units, leading national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) announced today. Acting as sole letting agents on behalf of Centurion Properties and the Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust (SWIPPT), LSH has secured four new leases with two tenants – bringing investment and jobs to Lakeside Industrial Estate in Redditch.     Steady growth in turnover is being seen by the South's financial sector, according to research by accountancy and investment management group Smith & Williamson. However, concerns over recruitment, regulatory matters and tax remain, despite the buoyant findings. Just under 120 people participated in this year’s financial services and markets group survey by the firm, which has its 50-strong South Coast office in Southampton.     One of the most important gateway retail schemes in Nottingham for many years has been given the green light by planners. A planning application has been granted for the £10 million landmark retail scheme known as Eastpoint in Daleside Road on the outskirts of Sneinton.     Record breaking industrial take-up figures for Greater Bristol revealed

    The Western Branch of the Industrial Agents Society (IAS), made up of representatives from the region's leading surveying practices, has released the industrial take-up figures for Greater Bristol for the first half of 2014. The figures show a total take- up of 1.53 million sq ft whilst 20.25 acres of land was transacted between January and June this year. The figures are the highest since 2005 for the equivalent period, with a record 126 transactions. For the same period in 2013, 1.41m sq ft of industrial space and 10.07 acres was transacted.
