Chauffeur business starts new journey with warehouse deal

A luxury chauffeur service is starting a new journey after acquiring a Birmingham warehouse unit in a £386,000 deal, commercial property consultancy Johnson Fellows announced today.

Executive Transfers has acquired a 2,691 sq ft unit at OYO Business Park, Castle Vale, from Johnson Fellows’ client Ravenbourne.

With a prominent road frontage, the unit offers fully-fitted first floor office accommodation of 646 sq ft and a ground floor warehouse/production area of 2,045 sq ft.

It has 6.5 metres clear internal height to the underside of haunch and a 4.2 metres high by 3.6 metres wide electrically operated sectional overhead loading door to rear elevation. Outside it has an exclusive 16 metre loading yard and six car parking spaces to ther rear.

Mark Fitzpatrick, agency partner at Johnson Fellows, said: “We wish Executive Transfers enormous success in its new location in Birmingham. Warehouse units of this size rarely become available to buy and so we were not surprised that there was a lot of interest in the property marketed on behalf of our client Ravensbourne.

“Situated near junctions for the M6, M6 Toll Road, and the M42, with rapid access into Birmingham and to the city’s airport, it provides Executive Transfers with the ideal location from which to grow its business.”

From its base at Birmingham International Airport, Executive Transfers operates a fleet of luxury vehicles driven by experienced chauffeurs, taking customers to a range of destinations including all major airports in England. It also offers executive car hire, corporate transfers, city tours and wedding car hire.

A spokesperson for Executive Transfers said: “We would recommend Johnson Fellows to other buyers as they have been very efficient and accommodating during the whole process. We have approached Johnson Fellows already to assist us in future projects.”
