Industrial specialist LM6, acting for Prospect Estates, has sold a 30,225 sq ft industrial unit at Price Street in Birkenhead to Shopfitters Direct.
The deal follows Prospect’s strategic purchase of the entire 70,986 sq ft former manufacturing site earlier this year.
Shopfitters Direct will occupy half of the building and Prospect Estates will now remodel the remainder of the unit to reduce the building density on site, creating independent yard areas and compounds. Demolition works have commenced and should complete by mid-November.

Securing a sale to a new occupier is great news for the local economy and the deal will allow us to create three separate production/warehouse units ranging in size from 7,500 to 10,000 sq ft.”
Each of the units has its own loading area and yard and can be taken individually or combined to create a single unit of up to 27,000 sq ft. The units are offered for sale or lease and provide a rare opportunity to purchase modern industrial accommodation in Birkenhead.
