Leading regional property consultants Rigby & Co have been recognised with a CoStar Award for Top Office Leasing Deal – West Midlands (City Core), Q4 2025, following the completion of a landmark acquisition of 30,515 sq. ft on behalf of flexible workspace operator Cubo at 55 Colmore Row, Birmingham.
The deal represents one of the most significant office transactions in the city centre during the final quarter of 2025, underlining continued demand for high-quality, flexible workspace in prime locations.
Acting on behalf of Cubo, Rigby & Co advised on the acquisition of the space at the Grade II listed 55 Colmore Row, which has since undergone some refurbishment to provide premium office accommodation in the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore business district, widely regarded as one of the Midlands’ most prestigious office addresses.
The 30,000 sq. ft office has become Cubo’s 16th UK location after the firm signed a long lease for the iconic former WeWork building.

Earlier in the year, Rigby & Co was recognised by CoStar as the Most Active Single Branch Agency – Acquisitions & Disposals for its role in Cubo’s acquisition at Spinningfields, Manchester, which was the largest office letting in the Northwest in Q2 2024.
