Commercial agents at Harris Lamb have let a Wolverhampton warehouse to a leading welding equipment supplier, bringing the industrial park close to capacity.
Just two vacant units now remain at G5 Industrial Park on Spring Road, Ettingshall, further to the letting of Unit 8 to TPS Weldtech Ltd.
The business was appointed as joint agent alongside Bulleys for the brand-new estate, which comprises of 17 high quality industrial units and extends to 43,908 sq ft, and reports high enquiry levels in the opportunities from both start-ups and established businesses.
Sara Garratt, who oversaw the TPS Weldtech letting, said: “Since launching G5, we’ve successfully let 40,000 sq ft of the space, with occupiers attracted to the specification of the site, as well as its established location and excellent UK transport links.
“With each of the units offering clear heights to haunch ranging from 6m to 8m, electronically operated level access doors, three phase electricity and car parking, the properties have all been completed to a BREEAM very good standard with EPC ratings of A-C, while the park itself has been landscaped to provide an attractive environment to occupiers.
“TPS Weldtech required a central, well-appointed unit to enhance its operation, and with a secure, fenced site and convenient access to the national motorway network courtesy of its close proximity to Junction 10 of the M6, Junction 2 of the M5 and Junction 2 of the M54, G5 fitted the bill,” she said.
TPS are a leading independent supplier of welding and cutting equipment and have signed a five-year lease on the 3,039 sq ft unit, which has five parking spaces.
Sara added: “This letting, along with the recent letting of Units 10 and 11 to Padel Warehouse 52 overseen by Bulleys, leaves just two properties available at G5; Unit 3, a 1,732 sq ft opportunity, and Unit 13, which extends to 1,856 sq ft. We anticipate a swift take up of the remaining buildings to bring the park to full capacity.”
