NHS Wales Informatics Service moves into new offices at 5 Castlebridge, Cardiff

Savills, jointly with JLL, has let a total of 4,573 sq ft (425 sq m) of office space at 5 Castlebridge to the NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS). NWIS has signed a new eight year lease and will occupy two floors of the building. This forms additional office space for the Informatics Service, with the head office located nearby in Cowbridge Road East.

Castlebridge comprises five interlinked buildings totalling 55,000 sq ft (5,110) of high quality office space. The development was purchased by Bristol based asset managers Ashville for clients three years ago. Since then there has been a number of significant changes including new showers, secure cycle parking, refurbished common parts and new courtyard with new updated branding and signage to create an desirable working environment.

Gary Carver, director in the business space team at Savills in Cardiff, comments: “We are delighted to have secured new tenants at 5 Castlebridge. The development is well located for the city centre and the availability of secure cycle parking and showers has been a major attraction for a number of companies here.”

Rhydian Morris, JLL director of office agency, Cardiff, said: “A city centre location continues to be a key requirement for the majority of occupiers, which directly links to employers wanting to offer the best possible transport modes for their employees.  Castlebridge meets these requirements very well and also offers a modern office specification.”
