FHP Property Consultants welcomes the news that another member of their team, Chloe Smith, has completed her journey to become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and is now a fully chartered Property Management Surveyor.

17 of the team are now part of the RICS, and they have all played their part in training fellow members of the team to pass their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), which involves submitting a case study on a real property issue, and final oral interview based on industry experience.

Chloe comments: “I am grateful for the support of FHP and senior colleagues in particular, for their individual help in strengthening my existing knowledge and understanding. The wealth of experience at FHP has been invaluable and allowed me the appropriate exposure to meet the RICS standards in becoming a chartered member.”

Going forward, Chloe will be supporting colleagues in their path to becoming chartered, as well as volunteering her time to the local Matrics Committee assisting with the organisation of local events. She comments: “I especially look forward to assisting with the RICS’ ‘Surveying the Future’ initiative, exposing the numerous career opportunities within the built environment to younger generations.”

It’s been a successful year for the Property Management team, having secured instructions with the likes of Craigard Investments at Sherwood Park and also becoming the managing agents of the new residential development, Drapers Bridge.

Rob Spencer, Director of FHP’s Property Management department, comments: “I am delighted for Chloe that her hard work and dedication to obtaining her chartered status has been realised. Chloe has excellent knowledge of property matters and prides herself on providing clients with a thorough and professional service.

I am sure that this qualification will only motivate Chloe further to increase her strong existing knowledge and experience to benefit our team.”

Chloe adds: “I am excited about my next chapter at FHP and the prospects of business growth and exposure at the firm. FHP will be 25 years old this year summer and it will be a time to recognise the progress of individuals and hard work that the firm undertakes to deliver a high quality service to our clients.”
