Commercial property agents John Truslove have negotiated a double deal to help a fast growing Midlands IT company secure more space.
JoTiKa Software Ltd, which provides bespoke software solutions for the glass industry, has purchased 8 Arden Court, Arden Road, Alcester.
But before they even had a chance to move out, Ben Truslove, joint managing director of John Truslove, had negotiated a sale of their previous office at 3 The Oaks Business Centre, Clews Road, Redditch, which was on the market for £180,000.
Ben Moseley, Operations Manager at JoTiKa, said: “The move is mainly about giving us more space and a better environment for the team as the business continues to develop.
“We’ve outgrown the Clews Road office and the new premises in Alcester gives us more room, better meeting space and a much better setup for the future.
“It was John Truslove who originally sold us the Clews Road property and we have known them for a long time, so it was a natural choice to bring them in when we wanted to expand.”
The business has swapped 1,290 sq ft in Redditch for 2,333 sq ft of office space in Alcester, providing more space and ample parking for JoTiKa’s 13 staff which is set to increase in coming months.
Ben Truslove said: “Our in-depth knowledge of the local market has enabled us to provide JoTiKa with the space the business needs to grow, while finding a very quick buyer for their existing premises in Redditch.
“As we sold them their new offices in Alcester for expansion, we also managed to agree a sale of their current offices before they had even moved out.”
Founded in 1979, JoTiKa is a leading developer and provider of glass software solutions, dedicated to the architectural glass industry.
The business has a global customer base with major clients in a number of countries including Germany, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
