Drivers passing through Lichfield South Business Park where the A5, meets the A38, A5127 and Junction T5, M6 Toll, can now top up on both caffeine and electricity in one stop. EG on the Move has opened a brand-new, state-of-the-art Starbucks drive-thru on the very same day, an Instavolt EV charging hub switched on next door.
The new Instavolt site is the largest of its kind in South Staffordshire, with an initial 14 ultra-rapid 160kw charging points. Paired with the state-of-the-art Starbucks drive-thru, it strengthens an already strong line-up of existing occupiers and firmly puts Lichfield South Business Park on the national EV map as a key stop for drivers on the move.
These two openings mark Lingfield Assets’ LLP, last development at Lichfield South, fittingly coinciding with 28 years of site ownership. Over much of this period, David Smith, former Leader of Lichfield District Council & former Member of Staffordshire County Council (pictured) played a pivotal role in supporting the regeneration of this key brownfield site.
The timing is a happy coincidence, arriving alongside Tungsten Properties’ phased completion of Axis 5 @ Lichfield South, a prime industrial and logistics scheme that has recently signed its first two occupiers.
