Holly aims to keep city hotels team up to Speed on tourist sector

Languages graduate Holly Speed has joined the busy hotels team at Colliers International’s Bristol HQ.

Holly, originally from Stroud, is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is also a dab hand with a paint brush having run her own decorating business.

She said: “I am thrilled to be joining the hotels team as it is a busy and dynamic agency with strong connections to the West Country and especially the Cotswolds, which I know particularly well.

“They told me August and September would be a good time to start as they are generally quiet but I would have to disagree with that!”

Holly  joins Colliers International after running a decorating business in Bristol. She also worked for a management consultancy in the west where she worked closely with a number of public schools and hotels.

Holly will be processing particulars and handling the day to day administration for hotel team directors Simon Wells and Peter Brunt.

Simon Wells said: “The Bristol hotels team covers a very wide region dealing with small village pubs right up to branded city centre hotels so we require vibrant and outgoing personalities to keep us up to speed with what’s going on.

“And when clients come to us to buy or sell properties in Spain or Portugal we’ll know exactly where to go for translations.”
