Phoenix Centre gives rise to new investment in North Oxfordshire

The newly developed Phoenix Centre, situated in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and comprising close to 50,000 sq ft of modern warehousing/industrial accommodation in 3 units, is now fully occupied. Doodlebone and Riteweld join existing tenant Kannegiesser in the modern development situated close to junction 11 of the M40 and opposite Douwe Egberts international coffee manufacturing facility.

Doodlebone have seen growth in their business since 2011 which means they are able to expand to this larger unit. The new building will be kitted out to provide expansion space for Doodlebone, who provide a range of over 20 different types of “groovy” dog apparel.

Riteweld Engineering, established in 1983, is a supplier of structural and architectural fabrication within the steel, engineering and design industry. Their business includes designs of bridges, staircases, balconies and custom architecture.

Kannegiesser, founded in 1948, provides a complete product range of industrial washing technology internationally active in 51 different countries and world market leader in the area of industrial laundry technology.

Harvey White, Commercial Property Negotiator at White Commercial Surveyors says “The 3 occupiers have all expanded from smaller units within Banbury and are all undergoing significant and substantial expansion. We received a good deal of interest in these units. White Commercial’s recent research confirms that there is a severe shortage of industrial units from 10000 sq ft – 30000 sq ft in the south East”.
