Redrow South East office moves to Ebbsfleet Garden City

Steve Morgan opens Redrow South East's new office at Ebbsfleet Garden City

Redrow’s leading South East division has relocated to the housebuilder’s flagship Ebbsfleet Green development. The new office, Redrow House, was officially opened by departing Redrow Chairman, Steve Morgan.

The South East division was set-up in 2015 and currently employs 192 people who are moving across to Ebbsfleet Garden City from the current headquarters in Chatham. The new office forms part of the mixed use scheme Redrow is delivering at Ebbsfleet Green, comprising up to 950 new homes, shops, a hotel, pub, primary school, allotments, sports pitches and open space. The move reflects garden city principles of providing a range of jobs alongside homes in a well-connected location.

Since the South East division was founded homes have been delivered across 19 sites in Kent, Mid Sussex and Medway. Redrow currently has 13 active sites in the region and is delivering 600 new homes a year.

Ben Fewsdale, Regional Director at Redrow South East, commented, “Moving across with the team to our flagship development is an important milestone in delivering our vision for Ebbsfleet Green and it has been fantastic to have Steve officially open our new office. Redrow South East has gone from strength to strength since it was founded only four years ago and every single person works hard to deliver beautiful well-designed homes, to provide outstanding customer service and to create sustainable new communities. We are looking forward to continuing this great work from our new location.”

Ian Piper, Chief Executive of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, said: “Redrow has become the first significant company to open an office here and the fact its HQ is now in Ebbsfleet Garden City shows the company’s commitment to the area and what a good location Ebbsfleet is for business.”
