Beatriz Valle, Colliers International.

Global real estate advisor, Colliers International, has strengthened its EMEA research capability with the appointment of Beatriz Valle, as a senior analyst, and Istvan Toth, as a senior data scientist. They will join Damian Harrington, head of EMEA research, who has relocated to Colliers’ EMEA headquarters in London from Helsinki.

Valle, a Spanish national, will be focused on preparing Colliers’ regular EMEA market reports alongside topical and thematic papers that will cross sectors. Valle has a journalistic background and has more than ten years’ experience producing regional research on industry-specific topics including the FMCG and IT/ICT sectors. Prior to joining Colliers, she spent seven years as a senior analyst for the IDC (International Data Corporation) and recently worked as content manager for RICS, covering technology and the impact on real estate, and writing for RICS’ MODUS magazine.

Toth is an economics graduate with over ten years’ experience in real estate research across EMEA. He has previously held local and regional analyst positions at Cushman Wakefield, both in London and Hungary, and CB Richard Ellis, Hungary. Toth joined Colliers in January 2018, where his primary role is to manage the development of Colliers EMEA research platform, working with local teams and third party data providers to further integrate and improve Colliers’ research offer to clients and business teams.

Damian Harrington, head of research EMEA, said: “With Istvan and Beatriz on board, Colliers’ EMEA research offering is stronger and more experienced than ever before, and strikingly international too. We’re already seeing a significant improvement in the quality of reporting we can generate and the increased capacity enables us to be more efficient and focused. This is allowing us to respond to client requests quicker and smarter, and with greater insight into a wider range of sectors.”
