USS lets 12,500 sq ft at 2 & 3 Golden Square, Soho W1

Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd (USS) has let 12,500 sq ft at 2 & 3 Golden Square, in London’s Soho. The building was comprehensively refurbished to provide unique office space and a new reception and was launched three months ago. The lettings have achieved headline rents of up to £100 per sq ft, per annum.

New tenants include digital agency Delete, early stage venture capital firm Mosaic Ventures, games studio and services-oriented software maker Workshop Technologies, and Hyde Park Special Operations.

2 & 3 Golden Square is located in the heart of Soho, a few minutes’ walk from both Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus underground stations. The scheme had been refurbished to provide 12,500 sq ft of prime, contemporary office space with available floors providing 1,407 sq ft to 2,933 sq ft. The upper floors include terraces that provide excellent views over Golden Square.

Richard Townsend, Director at Colliers Interational said: “The investment into 2 & 3 Golden Square was made on the belief that prime office space in the heart of Soho is in significant demand. Both the pace with which tenants have signed leases at the property since launch and the rents achieved show that good quality, well-located business space in Soho remain much needed.”

Colliers International and Bluebook acted for USS.
