Cushman & Wakefield makes senior energy and infrastructure hire

John Howells, Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its London & South East team with the recruitment of John Howells as a Partner to strengthen its development function within the Business Space Advisory team.

For the past five years, John has run his own business advising utility companies, developers, infrastructure businesses and other corporates on the disposal and acquisition of development land. He has also provided wider corporate real estate advice to a wide range of the UK’s best known utility giants – notably in the power and water industries. He will bring his existing client relationships and instructions with him.

John will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Portman Square, London W1 offices although he will continue to spend 2-3 days each week working at client sites.

David Haynes, Head of Business Space London & South East, said: “John’s expertise allows us to expand into exciting new areas in infrastructure and utilities, which have tremendous growth potential for our business. He also bolsters our capabilities in development consultancy and client-side transaction management which throws up opportunities for all of our teams.”
