Hollywood triumph at print ‘oscars’

Leading signs and graphics company Hollywood Monster is celebrating after scooping a prestigious national award for the second year running.

The Birmingham-based firm claimed the prize for the Best Wide Format Printing Company (sponsored by AGFA) at the Sign & Digital UK Awards 2012.

Hollywood Monster managing director Tim Andrews said: “We are thrilled to win this award for the second year in a row and continue to be recognized as the leading wide format printing company in the UK. It represents recognition of our innovative work on projects with many major clients. It is also just reward for our commitment to continuous investment in state-of-the-art technology that keeps us at the forefront of the industry.”

The company, which has headquarters in Tyseley and employs around 80 people, works with major companies including Next, Virgin Media, LilyWhites, Ann Summers, Coach, Whistles, HMV, Westfield, Carillion, Morgan Sindall, Lovell Homes, Redrow and Bovis Homes. Sectors it is active in include commercial and residential property, construction, retail, corporate, exhibition, outdoor media, event, stadium, museum and theatrical.

The Sign & Digital UK Awards 2012, held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, saw the industry’s leading sign and display companies rewarded for their innovative and creative work. The cream of the graphic display community enjoyed a sit down dinner with first class entertainment and networking opportunities.
