Salmon Harvester agrees deal with M&S Foodhall at Ashford, Kent

Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund (SHOP) has exchanged a deal for Marks & Spencer Foodhall to open at Warren Retail Park, Ashford in Kent.

M&S Foodhall has agreed to take a 20-year lease on a 10,268 sq ft store and will open next year.

SHOP acquired Warren Retail Park, which comprises 34,867 sq ft across three units, in 2014. It is situated off Junction 9 of the M20, less than a mile from Ashford town centre and is adjacent to a large Sainsbury’s store and a short distance from John Lewis at Home.

Nick Webb of SHOP commented: “Marks & Spencer Foodhall will be a popular choice with the local residents. We are pleased to accommodate their requirement at Warren Retail Park as Ashford is a key location where they have been seeking a store for some time. The neighbouring area has been transformed with the extension of the 150,000 sq ft Sainsburys and John Lewis at Home and this deal is in line with our strategy to improve the tenant mix and add value to Warren Retail Park.”

CWM advised SHOP while CBRE advised M&S Foodhall.
