An industrial unit on Salisbury’s most popular trading estate has been let.

New tenant for Unit 21on the Norton Enterprise Park, off Whittle Road on Churchfields Trading Estate is Energy-Tec Ltd.

The locally-based heating, plumbing, electrics and integrated renewables firm was helped to find the unit by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

Quoting rent for the 762 sq ft (70.79 sq m) unit was £5,250 per annum leasehold on a three-year lease.

Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “Churchfields is so conveniently situated for the city centre and transport links and there is always strong demand for units there.

“The high percentage of trade/retail occupiers such as Plumb Center, Builder Center, Magnet, Speedy Tool Hire, Travis Perkins and JT Sydenhams Building Supplies, as well as motor trade dealerships, shows the estate’s continuing popularity.”

The estate was created in the 1960s and remains the city’s most established commercial employment area.

Norton Enterprise Park, a development of 22 factory/ warehouse units, is situated along Whittle Road, which is accessed via Brunel Road, a principal service road onto the estate.
