Refurbished Birmingham office to get beauty treatment

The ground floor of 57 Church Street in Birmingham city centre has been let to international beauty brand, Elemis on a five year lease.

Elemis selected the 3,068 sqft suite due to its excellent central location and the self-contained nature of the accommodation which benefits from its own front door onto Church Street.

The worldwide producer of skincare products and spa treatments will use the property, situated in the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, as a high quality in-house training centre for employees in the Midlands and surrounding regions.

Pemberstone Group purchased 57-63 Church Street at the end of 2014, and the building has since undergone a comprehensive refurbishment by Blue Marble Asset Management and Antringham Developments.

Tim Matthews, CEO of Blue Marble Asset Management commented: “We are delighted to welcome Elemis to 57 Church Street and have no doubt that we will be announcing additional lettings in due course.”

Space at 57-63 Church Street is available in suites from 2,172 sq ft to 3,605 sq ft, or as a self-contained building of 13,078 sq ft.

Letting agent Jonathan Blood of Bilfinger GVA, said: “These are very exciting times for Birmingham and with yet another big name tenant opting to acquire space in the city centre showing great confidence in the local market and further inward investment into the city.”

Bilfinger GVA and GBR Phoenix Beard ‎are the joint letting agents for the property.

Phillipa Jeal Retail Property Consultants was the acquisition agent for Elemis.
