Blooming rosy in town centre as florist moves in

Business is blossoming for a flower shop that’s moving to new premises in Amesbury.

Specialist florist, The Little Flower Shop, is pulling up daisies to relocate to number 32 in the High Street from nearby Salisbury Street.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully negotiated the lease of the unit on a six-year lease at an asking rent of £3,000 per annum.

Myddelton & Major senior surveyor Rachael Ward said: “We were pleased to have facilitated the shop’s relocation to a High Street position in the town’s prime shopping area.

“This strengthens the business commitment in the street, with Barclays Bank, Hardings Estate Agents, the George Hotel and Tandoori Nights Indian restaurant all nearby.”

The ground floor shop, opposite the corner of Fairfax Close, was formerly a greengrocer’s.

It has a sales area of 93 sq ft (8.63 sq m) and a separate WC and cloakroom.

Amesbury, eight miles north of Salisbury and 13 miles west of Andover has a population of 10,724 and good links to the A303 and A345.
