Gemma is hands on in Salisbury

An expanding business has taken the lease of a Salisbury city centre property.

Body Fixit has taken over a self-contained office suite measuring 646 sq ft (60.01 sq m) over two floors in New Street.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully let the business unit.

Gemma Gutteridge, who specialises in sports massage and remedial massage, has taken the six-year lease at £5,500 per annum. She is moving into the new premises due to the business expanding.

Rachael Ward, senior surveyor at Myddelton & Major, said: “We are pleased to facilitate the expansion of another business in our thriving city centre.

“It goes to show that there is great demand for such properties as we move into the second quarter of 2015.”

New Street is next to the Old George Mall Shopping Centre and houses many commercial users such as professional and commercial offices, medical consulting rooms, law courts and specialist retailers.

There is a multi-storey car park opposite the property.

The offices are approached under an archway off New Street.

There is an attractive courtyard garden with an external staircase leading up to the accommodation, which has fitted carpets, electric heating, WC and kitchen area.

Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2014 for the third year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online ‘bible’ of the UK commercial property industry.
