Parkinson Wright Commercial Department Grows

Worcestershire law firm, Parkinson Wright with offices in Worcester, Droitwich and Evesham, has strengthened its Commercial department with the appointment of solicitor, David Bayliss.

David brings more than 9 years experience and several commercial clients to the firm, and intends to concentrate on his specialist commercial sectors including IT services, financial and leisure.

Jeremy Redfern, Partner and Head of Parkinson Wright’s Commercial department comments, “David’s appointment will greatly enhance our service offering.  We will be taking a more innovative approach, helping our clients to work smarter and stay abreast of developments to protect them during difficult times.  Our commercial edge is all about adding value and encouraging our clients to involve us as trusted advisors at the beginning of commercial transactions rather than as a necessity at the end.  In this way, time and costs can be reduced.”

David commenced as a trainee solicitor with Partridge Allen Solicitors of Aldridge, quickly gaining an equity partnership shortly after qualifying in 2002.  He then moved to Adcocks of Lichfield to specialise in Commercial Property, gaining clients within the charitable, public sectors, a national house builder and international companies.  David was exposed to a wider range of works, both in terms of complexity and value during his time at Frisby Solicitors of Stafford.

At Parkinson Wright he will advise on a range of matters including the sale, purchase and setting up of businesses, terms of trade, commercial contracts, franchise and distribution agreements, employment contracts and employment procedures.  David is also an experienced property lawyer and can advise upon matters including commercial leases, sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial property and financing arrangements secured on property.
