Training specialists take over ground floor of city centre landmark

Adult training service providers Tabs Ltd has responded to the need to provide re-training opportunities for the growing number of unemployed in Bristol with the acquisition of a new training centre on the ground floor of 35 Colston Avenue.

Located in the heart of the city centre and formerly occupied by Working Links, Tabs has acquired the ground floor suite totalling 2,551 sq ft on a new short term lease.

The company was founded in 2001 and has grown significantly over the last nine years. Tabs is now one of Learn Direct’s largest providers of training with 11 centres throughout the South and South West.

35 Colston Avenue is a prominent office building offering office accommodation arranged over six floors with a further 25,235 sq ft is available either as a whole or on individual floors. The second floor has been totally refurbished to provide good quality accommodation available for immediate occupation with plans to refurbish the remainder.

Colliers International have been appointed jointly with Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP to act on behalf of Bevan Brittan LLP.

Richard Wright from Colliers International’s Bristol office said: “35 Colston Avenue is located on a prominent position and sits within the main retail, leisure and transport hub of the city. This is a positive move in what is still a very challenging market.”

Bevan Brittan are also head tenants on the first floor of the adjacent building, 33 Colston Avenue, which is held on a term expiring August 2017.

The 11,500 sq ft open plan suite is being offered with the benefit 11 car parking spaces following Bevan Brittan’s move to their new headquarters in Kings Orchard.

Colliers International and Hartnell Taylor Cook are jointly instructed to market this space.
