LSH raises a glass as BrewDog comes to Sheffield

National property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has negotiated the letting of a former Starbucks coffee shop in Sheffield to Scottish craft beer company, BrewDog.

The space, comprising of two units, has been let toBrewDog on a 20-year lease. The double-fronted property offers 1,885 sq ft of floor space and is situated within Eldon Court, a prime retail parade in the Devonshire Quarter of the city.

Matthew Barnsdale, business space consultant at LSH, said: “We are confident that BrewDog is perfect for Sheffield and that with its vastly growing experience, will put the units to great use. The prime position of the space in the Devonshire quarter is perfect and just where ayoung and growing brand like BrewDog needs to be.”

James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog said: “We are really pleased to have found space in Sheffield and are very much looking forward to opening another bar in the North of England. Sheffield has a thriving community for craft brewers and we’re looking forward to being part of this.”

BrewDog is one of the most unique breweries in the UK. The young business has expanded over the last six years and operates twelve outlets in the UK and Sweden, with plans to open further premises over the coming months.
