Chartered surveyors secures city centre premises

National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH) Nottingham office has helped an established chartered surveyors company find a new city centre premises.

Bruton Knowles Chartered Surveyors has signed a five-year lease for 15 Castle Gate – a 2,221 sq ft first floor office suite in Nottingham city centre.

The company relocated from offices elsewhere in Nottingham after experiencing rapid growth.

Jenny Clarke, chartered surveyor at LSH in Nottingham, said: “The property is in a prominent position with modern facilities and onsite secure parking. The landlord – Texas Group Plc – recently refurbished the office to suit Bruton Knowles’ needs to ensure they could move in immediately.”

James Bailey, head of office at Bruton Knowles, said: “We had outgrown our previous premises and needed bigger, more modern offices to accommodate the team. It was important that we remained in the city centre where parking is often at a premium. Having car parking facilities on site was a big advantage.”

David Tyson, of Texas Group Plc, said: “The building was originally occupied by one tenant but, following demand for modern city centre offices with parking, we decided to refurbish the space into three office suites. The work is being carried out on a floor by floor basis and Bruton Knowles sets the standard for the quality companies we hope to attract to the premises.”

LSH’s Nottingham office and Innes England were joint agents on the property.
