Knight Frank brokers key letting at premier Leeds business park

Leading IT support and services company Assured Data Protection Ltd has taken 8,177 sq ft of quality office space at Thorpe Park business park, near Leeds.

The flourishing company is relocating from the Harewood House Estate into Aeris at 3200 Thorpe Park in the heart of West Yorkshire’s premier office, retail and leisure park.

Assured Data Protection is paying £24 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.

Elizabeth Ridler, office agency partner with global property consultancy Knight Frank in Leeds, who advised landlords RR Star Ltd, commented: “This significant deal underlines the continuing popularity of Thorpe Park and is a ringing endorsement of the standard of the best-in-class office buildings at the park.

“It is important to stress that the drive for quality workspace at Thorpe Park, post-Covid, ensured that Assured Data Protection Ltd could expand from Harewood House Estate into a superb office suite and benefit from the magnificent amenities provided.”

Rob Mackle of Assured Data Protection commented: “Our business has expanded significantly over the last few years and, consequently, we needed to relocate from Harewood to larger offices.

“Thorpe Park ticks a number of important boxes for us. The location, so close to Yorkshire’s superb motorway network, and a wide variety of retail and leisure amenities are a winning combination. 35 parking spaces are a major bonus, too. We are confident our staff will be very happy here.”

John Gouldthorp, of landlords RR Star Ltd, added: “We are delighted to welcome Rob and Assured Data Protection to Aeris. Their move underlines Thorpe Park’s reputation as the premier business park in the region as it continues to act as a magnet for successful Yorkshire companies looking to expand.”

Ms Ridler continued: “A huge buzz surrounds this hugely successful business park, which goes from strength to strength and is without doubt the go to location for out-of-town occupiers due to the strategic location, calibre of existing occupiers and the plethora of on-site amenities.

“Thorpe Park provides excellent facilities to support the well-being of staff, whilst benefitting from a superb strategic location, just off Junction 46 of the M1 and close to the A1 and M62. The quality of the accommodation is also first class,” said Ms Ridler, “as are the neighbouring amenities”.

Thorpe Park is a 30-minute drive to Leeds Bradford International Airport. Thorpe Park extends to approximately 170 acres and provides an outstanding working environment, which has already attracted occupiers such as Lowell Financial, the Scarborough Group, Wates, Bellway and Age Partnership.
