Kite Packaging, the UK’s leading packaging supplier has been awarded the Mars Drinks Gold Standard Award for quality performance in 2012.
The award which was launched several years ago, was awarded to Kite, which has branches throughout the UK, in recognition of its full delivery performance, better-than-target parts per million quality, and in celebration of its high levels of customer service.
The award highlights the company’s need for robust quality management systems combined with consistent quality and delivery performance.
A spokesperson for Kite Packaging said: “We are delighted to have won this award and it just confirms that the hard work we are doing behind the scenes is creating high levels of customer service and a product offering to be proud of.”
A spokesperson from Mars said: “The Gold Standard provides recognition of the fact that you as a supplier have helped us to build quality excellence into our brands through capable supply.”
The company which specialises in providing cardboard boxes, pallet wrap will now be awarded a commemorative plaque to mark its achievement.
