Fast-growing nationwide property developer, HJ Collection, has announced the acquisition of a prime commercial site in Maidenhead.
Acquired for £3.30 million, the Maidenhead site will now undergo a significant transformation to develop 31 residential units, comprising 22 one-bed, six two-bed and three three-bed apartments. The development costs are estimated at £3.50 million, resulting in a predicted gross development value (GDV) of the site of £10.75 million on completion.
Strategically located near Maidenhead town centre, the development benefits from excellent transport links and access to local amenities. Maidenhead station is just a short walk from the site and offers fast and frequent rail services to London Paddington and Reading, now further enhanced by the Elizabeth Line, which provides direct connections across the capital.
Additionally, Heathrow Airport is only a 20-minute drive away with quick access to the M4, offering an ideal location for commuters.
Reece Mennie, Founder and CEO of HJ Collection, confirmed: “This acquisition in Maidenhead is a prime example of what HJ Collection stands for – repurposing underutilised spaces into high-quality residential homes in tier 2 and 3 towns across the UK.
“Maidenhead’s ongoing regeneration, coupled with superb transport links, makes this a prime location for both residents and investors. I’m proud to add this site to our growing portfolio and look forward to seeing its transformation over the coming months.”
Since its establishment in 2019, HJ Collection has refined its own innovative turnkey business model, whereby the entire acquisition and development process is managed in-house to maximise efficiency and value.
