A Midlands-based commercial property agency has expanded its Solihull headquarters as part of a major anniversary.

Shepherd Commercial has doubled its office space at its existing headquarters in Knowle to accommodate its growing team after marking 20 years in business.

The investment has transformed the firm’s Solihull headquarters into a significantly larger and more flexible working environment, featuring enhanced meeting spaces and contemporary open-plan offices.

The investment, which sees Shepherd Commercial remain at the Old Bank House in Knowle where it has been based for over 12 years, includes the refurbishment and retrofit of the premises to support further growth, with capacity to double its headcount.

The multidisciplinary firm, which offers a range of services including property management, valuation and professional consultancy across the Midlands, was founded in 2005, with its consultants bringing together decades of commercial property industry experience.

The expansion in December came three years after the agency opened its second office at Brindleyplace in Birmingham city centre in 2022.

Managing Director Kaine Arkinson said the expansion marks a major milestone for the business as it celebrates two decades of growth.

“It’s an exciting time for Shepherd Commercial and this investment is a clear statement of intent about our future,” he said.

“Remaining in Knowle was important to us as it’s been our home for more than a decade, but we knew we needed a space that could support our continued expansion.

“By doubling our office footprint and upgrading our working environment, we’re not only improving our day-to-day operations but creating the space to welcome new talent and take on more clients.

“We’re proud to continue offering a high-quality, independent service to our clients across Solihull, Birmingham and the entire Midlands and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead in our next chapter.”
