Embark celebrates fifth birthday by hitting £50M of funding

Independent finance brokerage Embark is celebrating its fifth birthday by hitting a total of £50 million of funding for clients since the firm launched in March 2008.

Lutterworth-based Embark has provided the funding for more than 200 clients that together have a combined turnover of £375 million.

The £50 million-worth of finance solutions provided over the last five years have been across a portfolio of alternative finance including invoice finance, factoring, asset and trade finance, with these deals accounting for over £6 million in generated income for lenders in this time.

Co founders and directors of Embark, Richard Keenan and Mike Bailey commented: “We feel greatly satisfied that Embark has secured £50 million of funding for clients from a standing start in 2008, in the midst of a global downturn and sluggish economies.

“We have built Embark on the principles of providing relevant, good advice and solutions that are first and foremost, right for the client. As we enter our sixth year of business, it is greatly rewarding to see the tangible value we have added to so many clients and businesses over the last five years.

“Embark has established itself as a trusted and knowledgeable broker, regarded by many of the UK’s biggest providers and introducers as one of the Top 6 brokers in the UK. The team has built a network of trusted advisers, contacts and referrers that recognise Embark’s reputation and principles for good, relevant advice, with a service and turnaround that is second to none.”
