Quick-fire hat-trick sees industrial units change hands

Commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond is celebrating completing a quick-fire hat-trick with the sale of three industrial units at a Bedfordshire industrial estate.

The deals at Cradock Road Industrial Estate, in Luton, will bring new jobs and investment to the region, according to Kirkby Diamond’s head of commercial agency (group) Eamon Kennedy.

Kirkby Diamond, acting on behalf of private investors, advised on the sale of a 12,484 sq ft unit, for an undisclosed sum, to Sub CNC Precision Ltd.

The precision engineering company has acquired the newly refurbished freehold unit, which has loading access, open plan warehouse space, and offices.

Two adjacent freehold industrial units, totaling 16,107 sq ft, with a secure yard, have been acquired by windows and doors manufacturer Perfect Crystal. The expanding company also has a base at Park Royal in London.

Eamon Kennedy, head of commercial agency (group) at Kirkby Diamond in Luton, said: “To complete the sale of three units at Cradock Road to two strong companies quickly after coming to market is a great result for everyone involved.

“Interest in the properties demonstrates how demand across the industrial, logistics and warehouse sector is continuing to grow. The freeholds of stock in excellent locations are at a premium in this market.”

The industrial estate is strategically located off the A505, just two miles from the A5 and a mile from junction 11 of the M1 motorway. Luton town centre is just three miles away.
