St Modwen achieves 100% occupation at Great Western Business Park

St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has achieved 100 per cent occupancy at its Great Western Business Park in Worcester after securing long term leases with leading companies in the automotive and engineering consultancy fields.

Euro Car Parts, the UK’s largest supplier of parts for cars and light commercial vehicles, has committed to a 5,666 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease. A total of 25 new jobs will be created at the branch which is opening as part of the company’s rapid expansion.

Materials Solutions, which specialises in advanced materials for aerospace and counts Rolls Royce amongst its blue chip clients, already has a 7,200 sq ft at Great Western Business Park. The firm’s sales have trebled over the last three years so it has taken on another 8,533 sq ft unit on a 12 year lease to accommodate the growth.

Great Western Business Park spans 23 acres and offers modern industrial, secure storage and warehouse space in a key location. It’s just three miles from Junctions 6 and 7 of the M5 in Worcestershire and only a five minute walk from Shrub Hill Station and Worcester City Centre. Other high profile tenants in the Park’s 18 units include Deltacam International Ltd, Nemesis GB and Andrew Page Ltd.

Sukhpal Singh, Founder and Managing Director of Euro Car Parts, said: “This is the 30th Euro Car Parts Branch to open this year as part of our aggressive branch expansion programme. The expertise of St. Modwen has ensured we quickly found a property that matched our requirements and brief.”

Carl Brancher, Chief Executive Officer of Materials Solutions, said: “Our new unit has enabled us to double in physical size. We are pleased that St. Modwen has been able to accommodate our business growth within our existing location, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.”

The two deals mean that no units remain for sale or lease at the Park, however St. Modwen has a development plot of seven acres that is suitable for industrial and warehouse schemes.

Jonathan Green, Development Surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “We are very pleased that Euro Car Parts and Materials Solutions have completed our line-up of successful tenants at Great Western Business Park and that new jobs will be generated. The site has always been in demand with high profile occupiers thanks to the high quality of the units and its prime location which offers the ideal base from which to reach both local and wider transport networks.

“Businesses looking to base their operations at Great Western Business Park can now consider the development plot where we will construct new industrial/ warehouse premises to suit occupiers’ needs on a design and build basis.”
