The Howard de Walden Estate appoints Chief Operating Officer

Mark Kildea, Chief Operating Officer, The Howard de Walden Estate.

Mark Kildea has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at The Howard de Walden Estate.

He was previously Finance Director for the company which owns 92 acres London’s Marylebone.

Announcing the appointment, Howard de Walden’s Chief Executive, Andrew Hynard, said: “The scope of the business’s operations continue to evolve and Mark’s new title is in recognition of his wider responsibilities including Sustainability, Health and Safety, Insurance, IT and Procurement. As COO, his role will also encompass his previous core Finance Director responsibilities”.

The company’s portfolio includes medical, residential, office, retail and leisure, and educational properties which span prominent London locations such as Marylebone High Street and Harley Street.

Mark has been with the business for almost nine years and was previously Group Treasurer at Capital Shopping Centres (now Intu).

He comments: “The Howard de Walden Estate operates in a diverse and dynamic environment which requires expertise across a wide range of specialisms.
