A leading property consultancy has become the latest business to take advantage of 3D virtual tours produced by Dorset-based visualisation firm Yooport.

Vail Williams, which has an expanding team of property experts operating from eight offices, has begun using Yooport content to help clients visualise office space in the Solent region.

Among the first locations is an office suite at the Lakeside North Harbour business centre in Portsmouth.

Yooport harnesses leading-edge, all-in-one reality capture software that works to a much higher level than traditional video or 360° tours.

It creates hyper-realistic 3D models of real-world spaces, named ‘Digital Twins’, with multiple view options and outputs in a range of formats.

Russell Mogridge, lead partner for business space at Vail Williams, said: “We are keen to be innovative in marketing client properties.

“The power of Yooport’s 3D visualisation is ideal for office and industrial spaces and it can readily scale for residential or small retail.

“It enables potential occupiers to have an informed look round the space ahead of a final decision to ‘try before they rent, let or buy’.

“At the same time, owners can use it to showcase their properties and strengthen sales and marketing activities.”

Yooport was founded by husband and wife team Richard and Krystyna Guppy, Technical and Marketing Directors respectively.

Richard said: “Yooport was born out of our career experience in commercial property development, identifying a need among building professionals and property owners for specialist 3D views of construction and development projects as well as the marketing side.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Vail Williams to extend our reach into commercial real estate in the Solent. It’s a natural fit and a fantastic feather in our cap.”

Vail Williams operates from eight offices across the South and the Midlands and provides a full range of both commercial and residential property consultancy services.

The Solent is a key region for both Vail Williams and Yooport. According to the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership, there are more than 42,000 businesses in the Solent together generating an annual economic output of £31 billion.

Once the Yooport team completes and processes data capture of a particular location, output formats can include architecturally dimensioned floor and ceiling plans, high-definition photography and video content. Users can also measure remotely from the 3D Digital Twin.

For presentation, users simply embed the Yooport content in their websites just as they do with YouTube clips. They can also add the models into Google searches and Google Maps. Tags and links are easily inputted to the tours giving extra information about what is on view.
