Pembroke has announced the successful signing of luxury design house Achille Salvagni Atelier at 1A Grafton Street in Mayfair, London.

Achille Salvagni gained worldwide recognition for designing the interiors of award-winning luxury residences and super-yachts and launched his design studio – Achille Salvagni Atelier – to showcase iconic design pieces and limited-edition furniture and lighting. Since then, Salvagni’s exceptionally crafted collectible design has been shown at major international fine art and design exhibitions in London, New York and Rome.

Mayfair has been the home for the London Atelier since its launch in 2015, and the move reaffirms the designer’s commitment to this important London neighbourhood for luxury retail and high-end design. 1A Grafton Street provides three times the exhibition space of the Atelier’s former location, with dual aspect windows and high ceilings in this setting creating a new showcase for collectors to experience Achille’s renowned craftsmanship first-hand.

Achille Salvagni stated: “Our new gallery at 1A Grafton Street is an exciting step in our expansion. This space provides the perfect canvas for us to create a dynamic exhibition gallery and showcase our service and collectible design pieces, where craftmanship, noble materials and thoughtful design come together.”

Sandra Cooper, Asset Manager at Pembroke stated: “We are delighted that Achille Salvagni has reaffirmed his commitment to Mayfair with the opening of the Atelier at One Grafton Street. His presence in the building perfectly complements existing tenant, Gallery Fumi, and with two further retail units available to lease, we are actively looking to curate a high-quality tenant mix to further enhance the neighbourhood’s blend of luxury retail and fine dining.”

The luxury retail market continues to flourish in key central London locations and, set between Berkeley Square and Bond Street, Grafton Street has long been synonymous with fine art and premium design brands.

Set behind a Victorian frontage, One Grafton Street is a modern mixed-use development with four ground floor luxury retail units and Six floors of high-specification, flexible office accommodation. Achille Salvagni Atelier’s new studio at 1A Grafton Street, which opens in April, enjoys a dual aspect frontage on Hay Hill and Grafton Street.
