SGD expands offices and team

A team of financial experts is calculating success after adding to its workforce, multiplying its office space and increasing the number of qualified staff at the firm.

Spencer Gardner Dickins has has performed so well over the past 12 months that it has hired an additional four staff and taken an extra 700 square feet of office space at its Coventry Innovation Village base on Cheetah Road in Coventry.

The business increased the number of qualified staff further after four of its employees completed professional training and examinations while working with the firm.

Jade Spencer, from Dorridge, has achieved her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification, while Karen Foster, from Balsall Common, has also increased her skill set by passing her tax examinations.

Laura Donegan, from Wyken, and Joe Merrick, from Tile Hill, have passed their Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams.

Paul Spencer, partner at Spencer Gardner Dickins, said: “These are exciting times for Spencer Gardner Dickins and we have been able to move forward, increase the quality of our services and expand while others have struggled in the difficult economic climate.

“We believe that by continuing to develop the firm and by striving to provide the best possible service to our clients we will ensure continued success.

“An important element of improving standards is to support education and high quality training for employees at Spencer Gardner Dickins and this latest raft of qualifications underlines our commitment to that aspect of the business.

“Since the firm was established in 2004 we have aimed to create a pool of local talent and to ensure that the tradition of well trained professionals from this area was maintained.

“We are extremely pleased for Laura, Jade, Joe and Karen and we are sure they will continue to develop with the firm and help us to maintain and improve on the high levels of service our clients have come to expect from Spencer Gardner Dickins.”
