Property and asset consultancy firm Sanderson Weatherall has appointed Ben Hartley to join it’s Birmingham office as partner and head of valuation services.

Ben joins the firm with 15 years’ experience in the property industry, having previously worked as Partner at Matthews and Goodman, as well as BNP Paribas and Kennedy Wilson. He also brings with him five years’ experience working in the real estate team at HSBC, in both the Midlands and head office.

The appointment comes three years after Sanderson Weatherall opened its Birmingham office, as a result of an increasing client base in the region. Ben will primarily focus on providing property valuations for lenders, investors, owners and occupiers of commercial property in the Midlands.

Commenting on the appointment, David Rastrick, COO at Sanderson Weatherall, said, “We are delighted to welcome Ben to the firm as we continue to grow our presence in the Midlands. His experience will be a real asset to both our firm and our clients.”

Ben Hartley added, “As a leading, privately owned, SME in the property industry, Sanderson Weatherall is a forward thinking business which still holds its regional roots and strong business values. Birmingham is the newest addition to its national office network and I’m excited to strengthen its position in the local market.”
