Ryden advises Worley on its expansion within Preston Farm Business Park in Stockton-on-Tees

Commercial property consultant Ryden has completed the letting of a 10,774 sq ft office building at Falcon Court, Preston Farm Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees to engineering company Worley, who is expanding within the estate after acquiring 10,000 sq ft in December 2017.

Ryden has also monitored the landlord’s works to facilitate Worley’s occupation, including structural roof repairs, minor alterations to office layouts internally, replacement floor finishes, decorations throughout and the installation of communications and data equipment.

The Project and Building Consultancy team based in Leeds assisted Worley in limiting the company’s lease repairing liabilities and has been instructed to undertake dilapidations assessments of both office premises to accrue cost provisions at lease expiry.

The new property comprises a self-contained two storey building finished to a high specification, and it is located on the established Preston Farm Business Park, one of the prime business locations for the Teesside conurbation and house of local, national and international occupiers.

Dan Hodge, Associate and letting agent at Ryden, commented on this deal:

“We are extremely pleased to support Worley as they grow their operations in the North East of England, helping them serve a broader customer base locally and across the UK.”

“This project has been the result of excellent teamwork by both Ryden’s Agency and Building Consultancy teams, and we are looking forward to working with Worley in the future.”

Tim Carter of CPNE, who represented the landlord, stated:

“It is excellent news to lease more space to Worley and is testament to the product and location that they have chosen to show further commitment to Falcon Court.”
