Award-winning property management law firm, Brady Solicitors, has invested in substantial new premises on Regent Street, Nottingham, in a move that signals its commitment to both the city and the leasehold sector.

The firm completed the purchase of the premises in April, and moved in in early August following an intensive refurbishment project and a six-figure investment, working closely with Nottingham City Council to retain the key features of the 1850s listed building whilst creating a modern, open-plan space.

The move has come in the midst of another strong year of sustained growth for Brady, that has included increasing the team by 20 percent with the addition of five fee earners, including Jeremy Weaver as Head of Litigation and solicitor Helen Carey from SHMA, and new roles in business development and accounts support.

The new offices are in one of Nottingham’s prime professional areas, and provide high quality and bespoke space for Brady’s growing team, as the firm’s founder and MD Clare Brady explains:

“We have been based in Nottingham for more than ten years and were keen to stay in the city, but found a lack of affordable, quality commercial space to rent.

“When we found the property on Regent Street, we had a clear vision of how we wanted the space to work for our talented team, with room for us to grow and work collaboratively. As our property management clients regularly come to us with complex challenges, the new open plan space really facilitates discussion amongst team members, and we are seeing some fantastic results for clients as a consequence.

“We are looking forward to the next phase of the refurbishment, which will involve turning the large and airy basement into additional space.

“We are proud to play a part in the history of the building,” she adds, “and to be permanently located in one of Nottingham’s prime locations for its thriving professional services sector.”

A leading property management law firm, Brady Solicitors has a UK-wide client base of property management companies, commercial landlords, surveyors, property developers, residents’ associations and leaseholders.

Colin Hussey, Business Development Director at Brady Solicitors comments: “The leasehold sector is currently facing an unprecedented level of scrutiny and change, and this is driving demand for our specialist legal expertise.

“Our new offices provide us with the perfect foothold to push on with our growth plans. Though purchasing a listed building presented us with some hurdles, we knew the space suited our culture as well as our ambitions for future growth.”
