Dutytown buys in to the final phase of Aston 41 scheme, Aylesbury

W Lamb Ltd, advised jointly by Savills, Lambert Smith Hampton and Brown & Lee, has sold the freehold of Unit 5 on Phase 3 at Aston41 on Aesop Business Park in Aston Clinton, Aylesbury to Dutytown.

The speculatively built unit comprises 19,332 sq ft (1,796 sq m) of premium industrial space. Dutytown, a local investor, will now market the building to prospective occupiers.

This latest deal at the Aston41 scheme follows the success of Phase 1 which was acquired by Mercedes Benz for a used car preparation facility last year. Subsequently, the second phase, at the front of the site, sold to Lookers who are in the process of building a car dealership which is due to open in November 2019. At present, only two units remain available on the final phase ranging in size from 13,896 sq ft (1,290 sq m) to 54,639 sq ft (5,076 sq m).

Matt Sutton of Westhall Estates, the development manager, comments: “This unit offered Dutytown a rare opportunity to purchase freehold industrial space in an easily accessible location with excellent links to the A41 and M25. It is testament to the strength of the scheme that an investor has made the decision to acquire a vacant warehouse, proving they are fully confident in finding an occupier.”
