Business opens global HQ at Pensnett

An international business has moved its 85 UK based staff to a new global headquarters in the Black Country to provide modern facilities where it can continue to grow.

The IBP Group, which includes Conex Bӓnninger, a market leading plumbing fittings company, has relocated its head offices and UK distribution centre from Great Bridge in Tipton to the Pensnett Estate at Kingswinford. It has been joined by its sister company Dietsche, a specialist bathroom accessories and sanitaryware producer, which has its headquarters in Germany’s Black Forest.

The group has taken 57,916 sq ft at the Vantage Point development after London and Cambridge Properties Ltd (LCP), which owns and manages the business park, carried out a £500,000 upgrading programme to meet its needs.

The move brings the IBP Group businesses together under one roof and provides warehousing and office space, a dedicated visitor centre and a product training development facility at a flagship base which has access to key motorway links.

The IBP Group has invested extensively in ensuring its new UK Distribution Centre is equipped with custom designed racking and storage and the latest materials handling and packing equipment. In addition the offices are fitted out to a high standard including a state of the art telephone system.

Mano Bakhtiari, IBP Group CEO, said: “Our business has changed dramatically in recent years and it was clear that we needed new modern facilities to help us serve our customer base more effectively and efficiently. Our new distribution centre and offices future proof the business and provide a superb working environment for our team.

“The move is an exciting one for the business and follows a period of growth including the launch of new Conex Bӓnninger fittings and valves and the integration of the Dietsche business into the IBP Group. ‘We Strive for Excellence’ is our company mission and our new HQ will certainly help us in this endeavour.”

Margaret Hopkins, LCP’s Marketing Director, said: “It was clear from the outset that IBP Group wanted first class facilities for its global headquarters and we were able to more than satisfy their needs. We worked closely with them to carry out the changes they required, particularly on the customised office accommodation.
“The group joins nearly 200 local, national and international companies here on one of the largest secure industrial estates in Europe. It is a welcome addition and demonstrates the attraction of Pensnett as a key business location in the Midlands.”

Accommodation currently available to let at the 185-acre site ranges from offices of 111 sq ft to warehouse and production units of up to 36,525 sq ft.
