Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has helped West Midlands law firm Thursfields to expand into new office premises in Halesowen.

GJS Dillon advised Thursfields Solicitors on a new ten year lease on 4,833 sq ft of office space on the ground floor of Neville House, Steel Park Road, Halesowen, West Midlands, B62 8HD. Fisher German acted for the landlord.

Neville House is a stand-alone, two storey, modern office building located on Coombs Wood Business Park, approximately one mile north of Halesowen town centre.

GJS Dillon managing director John Dillon carried out an on- and off-market search for suitable office accommodation which would provide Thursfields with more space for its Halesowen office, and negotiated terms with the landlord’s agents.

Mr Dillon says: “Neville House is a modern office building with plenty of car parking located close to Halesowen town centre and Junctions 2 and 3 of the M5, allowing easy access for Thursfields’ clients and staff, and crucially providing more quality accommodation for the growing law firm.”

Thursfields’ Managing Director Nick O’Hara says: “We have worked closely with GJS Dillon for a number of years, so I know they understand the local commercial property market intimately and they were the right firm to appoint when we needed to find and acquire a new Halesowen office.”

GJS Dillon Managing Director John Dillon continues: “Particularly in the present market, it is essential to use a local, experienced Chartered Surveyor to ensure that you get the best deal when acquiring commercial property. This is the second acquisition we have made for Thursfields in the last six months. Last year we advised on the acquisition of the freehold of their Worcester office building.”
