Brace of lettings at industrial estate in Southampton

A brace of lettings leaves only two units remaining at a thriving industrial estate in Southampton.

Centurion Park has added Toolstation and He-Man Dual Controls to its line up of business occupiers.

A national leader in the supply of tools and building materials to trade and DIY customers, Toolstation has completed a move to the 4,958 sq ft end-of-terrace Unit H at the Bitterne Road West site.

Alex Gauntlett, a surveyor at property consultancy Vail Williams, covering the Solent region, said: “We are delighted to welcome Toolstation as the latest tenants to the park. He-Man Dual Controls, which was advised by Simon Martel of Warwick Martel, manufactures vehicle controls used by driving instructors.

The company completed a move to 9,891 sq ft Unit J; He-Man Dual Controls has been market leaders in the UK for many years and is now increasing its international business into Europe and North America.

Vail Williams and Lambert Smith Hampton, joint agents for the park, are reporting significant levels of interest in the last two remaining units – Unit B, which offers 10,097 sq ft of ground floor space, and Unit C at 10,072 sq ft.

Both units have associated ground and first floor offices, ample parking and loading areas suitable for articulated lorries.

Centurion Park is well located, approximately 1.5 miles from Southampton’s Western Docks and container port, with Southampton city centre approximately a mile to the west and connections to the M3 around four miles to the north. Bitterne Road West connects to Junction 7 of the M27.
