Europe’s largest independent office print solutions and copier/printer supplier expands in Exeter

Danwood, Europe’s largest provider of print management solutions, copiers and printers has celebrated its second anniversary in the South West by relocating to a new office.

The Exeter office of the company, which was originally based in the Basepoint Centre, has now moved to larger premises nearby in the Marsh Barton Industrial Estate, in a deal negotiated by Alder King.

The move rounds off a tremendously successful period for Danwood, which has expanded its team in the region with more office and technical staff.

“We’re really proud of how well everyone in Exeter has done in such a short time,” said Bob Keal, Divisional Director.  “The office move gives us more space to demonstrate to South West organisations the latest technologies in print as well as allow us the room to continue expanding.  In what are tough times for everyone, our work in helping businesses in the region reduce their print and photocopying costs has been really positively received.  The new offices are a reflection of how much in demand we have been.”

The new offices, which are based at Unit 5 Blenheim Court, Lustleigh Close at Marsh Barton, comprise 1,696 sq ft (157.60 sq m) of high quality office space over two floors.  The space provides a state of the art office printing and photocopier showroom, meeting space and more room for the expanding workforce looking after Cornwall and Devon.

Bob commented on the company’s expansion plans saying: “We’ve been committed to the South West for some time now, and I hope this office move proves our determination to grow and develop local, talented people who will take Danwood forward.”

Lee Southan of Alder King, acting on behalf of Berkshire Asset Management, added: “Danwood conducted an extensive search of Exeter’s available office accommodation, settling on Blenheim Court as it provided the most suitable space in the right location.”
