Pure Offices opens new centre at The Blade, Reading

Serviced office provider Pure Offices threw open the doors to its new business centre at Reading’s landmark office building, The Blade, recently with a special party attended by over 50 guests.

With guests from all walks of the local business community, Centre Manager Collette Naylor said: “We have had a very positive response for our space with businesses attracted by our simple and flexible packages and competitive prices.”

The centre incorporates more than 40 offices to accommodate between 1 and 20 people. The space is designed to meet the needs of innovative start-ups to international corporates. It has a first-class working environment with meeting rooms, a business lounge, break out space, telephony and fast broadband.

Pure Offices Managing Director Katie Whell said: “This centre is the latest stage of our ambitious expansion programme. The Blade is an iconic building and offers the perfect opportunity to capture the imagination of the Thames Valley occupier market, offering quality space on flexible terms.”

Alongside the physical space, businesses benefit from a busy events programme, designed to keep occupiers informed and encourage interaction.

The Blade is located a few minutes walk of Reading train station which has excellent links to London, Paddington and the national rail network. Pure’s opening coincides with a comprehensive refurbishment of The Blade building. Owner Northwood Regional is undertaking a three-month project to renovate Reading’s tallest tower by reconfiguring the reception area and refreshing common parts.

Pure Offices was founded in 2007 and has built a comprehensive portfolio of serviced offices across the UK. The clear and affordable pricing structure has appealed to a range of occupiers along with highly flexible rolling licence agreements.
