Fast growing Midlands law firm Thursfields Legal Ltd has purchased the building which houses the company’s headquarters.

The building, K2 on The Tything, Worcester, was on the market for offers in excess of £1 million.

As well as Thursfields Solicitors, the property is also occupied by estate agent F A Humberstones and New Cross Healthcare Solutions.

K2, which was sold by agents Bond Wolfe on behalf of a private investor, has office space across three storeys, totalling 6,224 sq ft, with parking to the rear.

Nick O’Hara, managing director of Thursfields Solicitors, said: “K2 is an investment in our future and demonstrates our commitment to securing the foundations of the firm.

“We welcomed the opportunity to acquire K2 as it houses our head office and gives us a base from which to continue our expansion across the region.”

James Mattin, managing partner of Bond Wolfe said: “The purchase of K2 is one of the most attractive office facades on The Tything. It is fully let and represents a sound investment for Thursfields.”

Thursfields Solicitors is one of the region’s longest established and reputable law firms, with around 140 staff in eight offices across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

The firm provides a full range of legal services to business and the private individual, including property, family, employment and commercial law as well as probate and litigation, from offices in Worcester, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Sedgley, Stourport-on-Severn, Solihull and Birmingham.
