Three new tenants move to The Blue Leanie, Aylesbury

Chandler Garvey have been successful in letting around 24,500 sq ft of the iconic building known as The Blue Leanie, located in Walton Street, Aylesbury, within the town centre, railway station etc. The property was designed by Equitable Life in 1982 and architecturally is known as an oblique rhombic prism, standing at an angle of 170 inclination. The property has been fully refurbished by the new owners, London & Scottish Investments Ltd and provides Grade A accommodation on ground, first, second, third and fourth floors.

The refurbished first floor of 14,000 sq ft has been let to Agria Pet Insurance who have taken a 10 year lease with a 5 yearly rent review, paying an effective headline rent of £17 per sq ft. Savills acted on behalf of Agria throughout negotiations.

Chandler Garvey have confirmed the letting of part of the fourth floor of 5,751 sq ft to Identify Group who have taken a 5 year lease, paying an effective headline rent of £17 per sq ft.

In addition, the remaining space on the fourth floor measuring approximately 3,665 sq ft has been let to Prospitalia h-trak Limited, formerly from Tring, and again on an effective 5 year full repairing and insuring lease at a rising rental to £17 per sq ft. Agents Andrew Scott Robertson from Wimbledon acted on behalf of Prospitalia throughout negotiations.

The remaining space on the ground floor totals 10,553 sq ft and is available as a whole, or in part. Quoting rental is now £18.50 per sq ft based on net internal area.
