Knight Frank has appointed David Charlton and Alex Billington to strengthen its Property Asset Management division in the Midlands.

David, 36, joins as a partner and will head up the PAM division across the Midlands. He was formerly with the commercial property arm of Mainstay Group in Worcester, and before that was with CBRE and JLL, both in Birmingham.

He is joined at Knight Frank by Alex Billington, who was also formerly with Mainstay.

Ashley Hudson, head of the Birmingham office of Knight Frank, said: “We have a number of significant instructions in the Midlands, but the arrival of David and Alex will enable us to pursue other new PAM opportunities across the region.”

David Charlton said: “I am excited by the opportunity to head the team and drive its growth and I believe there is tremendous potential to make a real impact at a very well-respected firm.”

Knight Frank’s Property Asset Management division provides a range of management services for landlords, including managing rents and arrears, service charges, facilities management and tenant liaison. Knight Frank has invested heavily in specialist computer systems to enable commercial property owners to see all aspects of their buildings’ property and financial performance at the click of a button.

“We can work with clients to help them make faster, better decisions about their property,” said David.

Knight Frank’s PAM division recently won the Agency Team of the Year award for 2018 from leading national magazine Property Week.
