CBRE signs up to support Birmingham Hippodrome

The Birmingham office of commercial property consultancy CBRE has put its name up in lights as the latest firm to sign up as a corporate partner of the Birmingham Hippodrome.

CBRE has taken an associate partner membership at the theatre, which follows managing director Martin Guest’s appointment as a Hippodrome development trustee.

As part of its support for the theatre, CBRE hosted a night of comedy for 60 of its clients who enjoyed a few laughs with funny man Dara O’Briain. The evening also raised vital funds for the theatre’s £1million stage appeal campaign.

Martin Guest said: “CBRE is delighted with the success of our partnership with the theatre. It has already given us the opportunity to host a very successful key client event, and we are proud to be involved with one of the city’s best cultural assets.”

CBRE is also one of the first companies to sign up for the Hippodrome’s major corporate event in 2013, where guests will be invited to the opening night of the brand new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.

Birmingham Hippodrome is an independent theatre that welcomes more than 500,000 visitors annually. As a registered charity, the theatre receives no public subsidy so welcomes financial support from both individual theatre lovers and the corporate sector alike.
