Stockbroker takes space in city’s commercial heart

Leading city stockbrokers HB Markets plc has taken contemporary office space at Tower House in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district.

The company is occupying 1,400 sq ft on part of the 10th floor of the iconic city building in a deal brokered by Colliers International and Jones Lang Lasalle.

Colliers International offices specialist Richard Wright said: “HB Markets is a leading London Stockbroker specialising in providing clients and business with the very latest stock market news and market comment.
“The fact they have chosen to open an office in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district speaks volumes about the city’s increasingly important role as financial hub of the South West.”

Tom Sayers, Broking Manager at HB Markets in Bristol said: “In addition to its regional dominance Bristol has become one of the top commercial locations in the country so it is important for us to establish a high profile in the city.

“Tower House gives us an ideal location at the hub of an increasingly vibrant commercial centre.”

Tower House has recently been refurbished throughout and Nick King of asset managers Urbina commented: “We are delighted to welcome HB Markets to the building.  They join other high profile occupiers including Immediate Media, Central Appointments and eRecruit.  Following our extensive refurbishment programme this is the fourth new occupier we’ve secured for the building in as many months.”

HB Markets has signed a five year lease on the 14-storey office.

Tower House provides occupiers with contemporary and versatile office accommodation with suites still available from 1,200 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.
